Our mind is a combination of ego and experience, allowing us to function in the physical world and help us make decisions. It allows for all the basic functions of physical life to take place, including our interactions with the people, places, and things in it. The mind is fluid, can ponder the future, weigh odds, dwell on the past, choose right and wrong, and concentrate on the present.
The subconscious is programmed with a series of functions that are inherited and recorded in childhood and through life experiences. It is not rational, and there is no emotional attachment, no pondering, no opinions formed, just a program running similar to a computer’s hard drive. Would it surprise you to hear that the subconscious brain controls over 90% of what we do? These pre-recorded messages control your genes and are just as easy to alter as updating computer software. Your health, energy levels, mind functioning, and all other physical functions are running on a fully accessible program. These recorded messages tell you how to react to stimuli, how to behave with stress, how to treat others, what to say in certain situations, and how to respond to illness.
Counseling, self-help books, and special therapies often seem to make sense, but don’t work because they are all performed on a conscious level. All the while the recordings on the subconscious level are running the show. Because the brain reacts to outside stimuli, the norm is to use our conscious brain to take a hard look at those outside stimuli for the problem. Your ego is always whispering, telling you how to act, how to feel, how to dress, and what to believe based on its interpretation of your programming. You are using your conscious mind and to feel out the subconscious programming. You are your own body, mind, and spirit “mechanic”. There are many avenues of learning you may come across, but they all boil down to one thing…re-recording the subconscious mind’s programming as the real problem lies within the programming recorded in your subconscious brain and the belief systems you currently find yourself participating in.
The mind is much like a computer hard drive. Our individual waking consciousness is like a partition space on that drive. When a sector of space is partitioned off, it doesn’t become a different physical drive. It is still part of the original hard drive with an imaginary boundry placed around it. Each individual consciousness is part of the larger drive, and can readily have access to the rest of the data on that drive. We're limited in normal daily waking consciousness, but by learning to temporarily withdraw the physical senses, and re-connect to the larger reality we are free to roam the whole server. There is no big secret to meditation, and there’s nothing mystical about it. You ARE consciousness. It is always there within you and isn’t something that has to be sought out. By quieting the sub-conscious mind and the ego, you allow the conscious mind to be heard. By ignoring the noise blocking it out, your conscious connection flows freely and openly. It’s nothing more than shutting down the data flow of thoughts and emotions to your physical brain to allow your true self to interact with the greater consciousness.

One of the most powerful ways to reach ideal states of consciousness is through Brainwave Entrainment, which is using any method to train your brain to function at an improved frequency or wavelength. The subconscious programming is highly accessible through meditation and connecting with pure conscious energy. Arriving at the optimal frequencies can be done much more quickly and easily through Brainwave Entrainment assistance such as the tools we offer here at SoundShift.
Finding useful tools to achieve reprogramming and eliminating the conflicts, negativity, frustration, and darkness in your life can bring you peace, happiness, contentment, harmony, positivity, an open heart, and a lightness and stronger spiritual connection to your source.
"If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself. If you want to eliminate suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation." - Lao Tzu
